These constraints are in analogy with the art of poetic freedoms, as constrained by a meter or a form such as those of a sonnet or other more free-forms. These are orchestrating our behaviors in more or less dissonant harmonies or counterpoints 

We don’t have to write a sonnet. We don’t have to recognize realities outside the sonnet. Yet, the sonnet and the creations beyond it, are unequivocally there; silenced, subdued, erupting or loudly. 

The impact of the humanities could be felt by mapping it with environments, eco-systems and ethics in technological and scientific applications, perhaps allowing for transformations in nature (via technology), societies (via governance and politics) and culture (via habits, memes, principles, forms, functions and aesthetics). 

Environments, life, cultures, diversities among individuals and collectively via humanity, are “inextricably connected”.
